To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Chinese movies, Chinese National Leader Hu Jintao would meet representatives from the movie industry of Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan on 18 December. The representatives would includes artistes, directors and producers.
Artistes would include Jackie Chan, Eric Tsang, Maggie Cheung, Xia Meng and Zhu Hong; directors include Derek Yee, Stanley Tong, Wong Kar Wai; producers includes Ng See-yuen, Crucindo Hung, Zou Wenhuai and Peter Lam.
Representatives from Mainland China includes Zhang Ziyi, Gong Li, Zhao Wei, Zhang Yimou and Chen Kaige.
Representatives from Taiwan includes Hou Hsiao Hsien, Shu Qi and Lee Ang.
Andy Lau and Jackie Chan were invited to perform by singing songs from movies. The event will be broadcast live on CCTV.
