The Kite Runner which was written by Khaled Hosseini is one of the favourite book that Andy Lau read, he feels that the way of writing is very special and the way of handling love relationship touches his heart, he says: "This is a good book that's hard to come by, those whom thought of writing a book can take this book as an example, the formatting of the book is great, all the twist and turns are done very well, every scene is describe as if you're watching a movie!"
Andy is touched by how the brotherhood of three men being narrated in the book, he could not forget the father character in the book, he says: "The greatest sin of the father is cheating and stealing, he still doesn't know what's his sin. Many people had read this book and each has their own different feelings after reading, this is magical."
