Andy favourite for Golden Pin Award

Joint organised by Po Leung Kuk and RTHK, the 28th RTHK Chinese Music Awards will be held on 23 January 2006. The theme of "Give Life to Music" will continues. A media press conference was held yesterday where it was revealed that Andy Lau and Joey Yung leads the 2005 Top Airplay Top 10 Singers list.

The top 4 top airplay male singers are Andy, Eason Chan, Leo Ku and Hacken Lee.

12 awards will be presented this year, for the Golden Pin award, several were considered for the award, they include Lung Kim Seng, Yip Lai Yee, Adam Cheng, Andy Lau and Chan Po Chu. It's alleged that Andy might not accept the award as he was still participating in music award ceremonies. Chow Kwok Fung feel that Andy's resume was suitable for such honor but the final decision will be made by the judging panel.
