Artistes from Hong Kong showbiz did all their best to raise funds for the Sichuan earthquake victims All Stand Together As A City to Fight Against Quake and Save Victims (literally translated) was held at Tsuen O TV city for 2 nights. Many artistes and singers performed in the event and they talked about their sorrow of losing their close family members and the suffering victims resulting them to cry. The total of funds raised exceeded more than HK$2.2 billion.









Initially Andy Lau was supposed to be in Mainland China preparing the promotion of the Special Olympics but he cut short his schedule and rushed back to attend. Andy's voice appeared coarse when he tried to urge people to donate. He also clumped all his 10 fingers and asked for forgiveness: "Please give hope to the victims families, hope in the future, heaven will be good to us?"
