Andy no chance in China Movie Charts

Both Zhang Yimou's House of Flying Daggers and Feng Xiaogang's A World Without Thieves have good box-office takings in Mainland China last year but both movies will be "losing its power" as although they manage 9 nominations in the 1st China Movie Charts but male lead Andy Lau will not be in the running for Most Popular Actor award.

The 1st China Movie Charts is organised by China's Movie Producer Association, China's Movie Distribution and Screening Association and China City Cinema Developement Association.

It was told that due to some consideration, movies from Hong Kong and Taiwan will not be considered, no wonder Andy was scarificed, however the organiser will reward outstanding performer therefore Andy might be given an honor award to reward his outstanding contribution in the movie industry.
