Sprite China Original Composed Music Hits Charts 2005 was held last night at Shanghai, singers that attended include Andy Lau, Miriam Yeung, Joey Yung, Fiona Sit, Kenny Kwan, S.H.E, Zhou Xun, Vicky Zhao Wei, Willber Pan, Sun Nam, Leo Ku, Tian Zheng, China's Supergirls contestants and Korean singer SE7EN.

As per reported by the media that Andy would become the night's biggest winner, he won a total of 7 awards which include Asia Pacific Most Outstanding Multi-Talent Artiste, Most Popular Male Singer, Asia Pacific Most Popular Male Singer, Country's Top Golden Hit Song, Year's Singer-Composer, Best Idea Album and a Hong Kong-Taiwan Hit Song award for Zai Shou Yi Ci Wo Ai Ni as it was not a wasted trip there on his private jet.

Meanwhile, Joey Yung won the Most Popular Female Singer and Hong Kong-Taiwan Golden Song. Miriam Yeung only won one award as Asia Pacific Most Popular Female Singer.
