Andy presented Phonenix Achievement Award

Phonenix Satellite Television Holdings Limited held a 10th anniversary celebration dinner at Hong Kong Asiaworld Expo as many high officials and businessmen attended which includes current and previous Chief Executive Donald Tsang Yam Kuen and Tung Chee Hwa, Stanley Ho, Tsang Hin-chi, showbiz artistes includes Jackie Chan, Andy Lau and Jo Koo. The organiser present the 10 Years Phonenix Achievement Award to Tung Chee Hwa, Jackie Chan, Ven. Master Hsing Yun, Andy Lau and Eric Tsang to thanks their support for many years.



When Andy arrived yesterday, he was arranged to wait in a guest room with the other special guests, he was seen uneasy when he was surrounded by these special guests and the current and past Chief Executive, when reporters asked him to excuse himself for interviews, he appeared relief. Andy exclaimed that he was nervous when he was surrounded by so many special guests. He only chat with Ven. Master Hsing Yun and Ven. Master Kok Kwong: "The 2 Ven. master enlighten me how to help spread Buddhist, I told them I could help them."



Even though Hong Kong Asiaworld Expo had held several large scale concerts previously, Andy whom was there for the first time exclaimed that he had not considered on holding his concert there and he would consider after the traffic was improved.

When asked if he seize the chance to suggest to Chief Executive Donald Tsang on supporting the movie industry and the recent actions of paparazzi? Andy exclaimed that Chief Executive Donald has other tasks on hand and it would not be suitable to ask him such questions. He quipped: "This kind of task will leave to Eric Tsang, let the association to handle would be better! However, it did gave me a scare when I saw the present and past Chief Executive, we did took a photograph together." When talked about reports that the showbiz artistes would have a demostration to oppose the paparazzi's action, Andy quipped that he was cheated by the media as he think that whatever way was used to reflect the problem, the most important is that everyone worked together on it.
