To be screened in 2008 Lunar New Year holidays, Warlords held a press conference to launched its official website in Shanghai. Director Peter Chan, Jet Li and Xu Jinglei attended. A new set of 4 posters consisting of Jet, Andy Lau, Takeshi Kaneshiro and Xu Jinglei on each poster respectively were also launched. The poster was cleanly designed and has a strong sorrow theme.
Jet whom had a passionate kissing scene with Xu Jinglei in the movie, the scene was shot inside a tent in Inner Mongolia. However, Jet expressed that he does not know how to act in the scene which leaves Xu in a difficult and embarrassing position. On the day of shooting, Jet sighed that even though the director knew that I do not know how to act out the scene but yet he did not teach me, he said: "I thought she would be kissing me but Xu thought that I would be kissing her, both of us does not know whom should take the initiative."
Jet added that ever since the completion of shooting Warlords, it's since 2 months that he last met Andy and Takeshi, however they still keep in contact through telephone and e-mails.
Director Peter expressed that Andy would be writing and composing a new song as the theme song for Warlords of the same name, he would be singing the song. If nothing happens, this song will be released next month.
Meanwhile, Andy and Si-chuan mask changing master Peng Denghuai had been appointed as the charity ambassadors for Biostime China Foundation for Mother & Child.
