The Warlords which starred Andy Lau, Jet Li and Takeshi Kaneshiro will open in the cinema on 13 December, the 3 actors were promoting the film in Mainland China in the past few days. The previous night, they moved on to Shanghai for promotion and also attended Jet Li's One Foundation gala dinner.
At the charity auction, Peter Chan and Andy lend out their caring hearts as they donated a local branded RMC 32" jeans for auction, the back pockets of the jean had the chinese characters of The Warlords - 'Tou Ming Zhuang' sewn on it. The auction was in charge by Andy and it was bought over by a kind hearted with $65,000 renminbi. RMC is branded brand in Hong Kong, it had made into the American market, even NBA basketball player LeBron James had a shopping spree of RMC jeans when he was in Hong Kong.
Although the foundation was started by Jet, but Andy put in more effect than Jet as after auctioning the jeans, he took out a 'Fu Qi' calligraphy for auction, the base price is $60,000 and with good response, it managed to fetch $150,000 in the end. Andy said: ""Actually this calligraphy is a present for a doctor friend a few years ago, he donated it out this time as charity, I'm under huge pressure as I'm not sure if anyone like this, luckily it has the support of so many people!
