In the movie - Wait Til You're Older, there was a scene where Andy Lau and a fatty classmate dance in the school's shower room to recognise each other. Andy was delighted during shooting as the fat boy doesn't know how to dance at all thus Andy personally teaches him all the dancing steps.
Andy says: "His tummy was bouncing up and down when he dances, it's so funny, initially I can't help but laugh at him. But I'm afraid that I'll hurt his feelings thus I don't dare to laugh. The fat boy is very clever as he can catch the rhythm, he manage to learnt it after teaching him a few times, he's great!"
Andy added: "The set-up of this scene is very good as my character (when young) is brothers with the fat boy but I suddenly grow up, he couldn't recognise me, I told him of our little secrets to prove our friendship. In real life, I feel that friendship is very important."
As Andy's character age is 20-80 years old, his acting in the movie brought his mother into tears. When Andy brought his mother to the movie company for the preview, his mother cried as she remarks: "This is the most touching movie among all the movies in Andy's movie career!"
Andy's mother also sing praise of Andy's images which is unforgettable for her. The hollywood makeup expert transform Andy in 50, 60, 70 and 80 years old. When watching the movie, Andy's mother felt that she was watching a magical photobook. As Andy is very concern of his face, the movie company revealed that Andy had insured his face with a HK$3 million insurance.
