2 nights ago, Andy Lau was interviewed on Commercial Radio and he expressed that he would always spend the Mid-Autumn Festival working, this year is no exception as he would be in Mainland China for his concert tour.
When asked if he had a reunion dinner with his family in advance, he says: "No choice, if we wanted to have it in advance, it would be so much earlier, it seems that I can't spend the festival with my family. However, I seldom spent the festival with their family as when I'm still studying, I'll date my girlfriend to the beach to watch the moon." Despite his busy schedule, Andy would spare a day time to jet back to Hong Kong to celebrate his birthday on 27 September.
Andy revealed that he was rather mischievious when he was young, although he doesn't know about boiling wax but what he does when he was young was far more dangerous than boiling wax as he use a Y-stick to shoot at other people's latern with inflammable items in cotton wool or toilet paper, he was beat up by his mother when discovered by her. He says: "My mother beat me up after she discovered what I've done, I doesn't know how danger it was as I don't understand why I got beaten for just playing, thinking back, I don't think it was fun anymore."
After his concert tour end in early October, he will rush to Beijing for the filming of Mo Zi Gong Yue for a month before jetting off to America for his concerts, then return to Beijing to continue filming in Jan 2006.
When talked about the movie - Mo Zi Gong Yue, Andy revealed that the movie will narrates how he guard the city for 8 months, the finale scene would be location shooting in a water cell as he would be rescuing his loved one. When asked whom would be his loved one in the movie, he exclaimed that he doesn't know himself as he says: "There was too many allegations thus I asked the director who was my beloved one in the movie but he told me that he had yet decided and would give me the answer in "
