In the Warlords, Xu Jinglei is Andy Lau's wife, however she had an affair with Jet Li. The Warlords is a male-theme film, thus she does not have much screen time, she said: "When I was told that I will be acting opposite Andy, Jet and Takeshi Kaneshiro, which actress does not want such chance. If I'm the main character in this film, I would not take this offer."


Having collaborated with Tony Leung in Confession of Pain, she said: "Andy is more cheerful, Tony is more quiet, but as we get along longer, we can talk more."
